Fireworks Night, Saturday 4th November 2017. Price the same as last year.
Another year has passed and it’s almost our annual Fireworks Night again! Gates open at 4.30pm, fireworks at 6.30pm.
This is the school’s most important fundraiser of the year. Thank you to everyone who supports this event - the fireworks team, the volunteers who man stalls, set up, clear up, man the gates and park cars, and of course everyone who buys a ticket, burger or a tipple or two!
Every single penny of the profit we raise goes directly towards benefiting the children of our gorgeous village school, giving them equal opportunities to learn, develop and grow.
Without the generosity of our parents, carers and village, we wouldn’t have been able to provide the Life Education Van, classroom learning support resources, Dimensions Curriculum, Mathletics for years 2-6, Sports Week, World Awareness Week, the school library, leavers’ gifts for year 6 and subsidised school trips to name just a few items.
As well as raising money for so many things to enhance the education of our village children, it is also one of the biggest village events on the calendar and this year we have worked hard to give great value for money too.
We do ask that you purchase your fireworks tickets in advance from the Village Shop or CB Slade.
They are priced at:
£17 family (two adults and up to three children)
Under 3’s go free
If you buy your ticket on the gate, it will cost you more to get in (£8 adult, £6 child, £20 family). This is because we don’t want you to buy tickets on the gate – it’s very dark and consequently very difficult to handle money (even with the help of torches) on the gate. This leads to long queues of cars and people, and we want to get you safely and quickly into Bradstone.
The village shop is open until 7pm on a Saturday so please go there first before coming along to Bradstone. They will be selling tickets at the lower ticket price, even if you buy them at 6.25pm on the 4th!
Thank you again, FOAKS (Friends of Ashton Keynes Primary School)
